My Nanny/Babysitting Pay Rates:
Depending on the distance, number of children, and other requirements requested by the parents (e.g. Tutoring, cleaning, etc.) my rates fluctuate. My base rate is $20.00 an hour and goes up from there. I accept cash or check payable every week at the end of services.

**There is a 4 hour minimum on all bookings.**

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel with less than a 24 hour notice, you will be charged for 4 hours of care.
If you cancel with less than 4 hours notice, you will be charged for the entire amount of booked care.

Scheduling Changes:
It is extremely important to contact me as soon as possible of any changes to your confirmed schedule. Please notify me via phone, text or email regarding any additions, cancellations or changes to your schedule.

Mileage and Gas Reimbursement (For On-The-Job Trandaportation):
The IRS issues a standard mileage rate to calculate the cost of gas, maintenance and depreciation of a car used for business purposes (like running errands for families or transporting kids). The rate for 2015 is 57.5 cents per mile.

Using this average mileage rate is helpful because it covers all of the expenses that I could incur from using my car. I will document and add this to the final bill when being paid.

Children's Food and Activity Spending Money:
Parents are required to leave the appropriate amount of money for their children's meals, outings and activities. I do not front the money or do IOU's.

Contracts:
In some cases I require families to sign a contract. There are times when this is essential for clarifying [salary] matters and detailing all the conditions necessary to ensure a healthy and productive work relationship. When both myself and families are clear on pay, responsibilities, and privileges, it reduces confusion and makes disputes easier to solve amicably when they do arise.

Failing to communicate and respect these policies will result in discontinuing my nanny services. All parents must sign a contract signifying they have read and understood all policies.
